Typeface
Avenir was specially selected as the primary typeface for KCC’s rebranding because Avenir means “Future” in French, and it is a minimal and modular sans-serif font used in many sites, which most suited for a futuristic feeling to the brand. It resembles minimal and futuristic content. It creates clean looking websites for KCC’s rebranding. Use the bold and extra bold weights of Avenir for emphasis with the light, book, and medium weights.
Georgia is an alternative to the most common typeface Time New Roman that has accrued its reputation as the default font of the legal profession. It is known for highly legible and space-saving. However, it is no longer the default font due to overuse. Meanwhile, Georgia is a serif font has letterforms with thicker strokes that make it easy to read even at small sizes. It was intended as a serif font that would appear elegant but legible printed small or on low-resolution screens.
